Air defense forces in Rostov region repelled an attack by the Ukrainian armed units, region’s governor Vasily Golubev wrote on his Telegram channel on November 2.
“Emergency services are clarifying the consequences on the ground,” the region’s head wrote.
According to him, the region did not declare an air alert. At 2:17 and 2:40 p.m. the air defense system shot down two targets. He did not specify what the Ukrainian militants used for the attack or whether anything was damaged.
The regional authorities urged citizens not to post pictures and videos that might reveal the location of the air defense systems.
