What are Poland’s militaristic plans? Opinion

04.10.2023, Moscow.

Poland intends to create the No. 1 army in Europe, according to a report from the theater of war, published in The Essence of Time newspaper, issue 553.

In mid-September, Polish officials announced plans to militarize the country. Thus, 12 South Korean FA-50 fighter jets are to be delivered to Poland by the end of this year. Next year, 32 US F-35s are scheduled for delivery.

In addition, Poland intends to build together with South Korea more than 800 tanks and 600 self-propelled howitzers.

“It is curious that recently, as part of the pre-election struggle, the Polish government published plans to surrender half of the country’s territory in the event of a Russian invasion. The plans were claimed to be developed by the previous cabinet of Donald Tusk. But Mr. Morawiecki’s cabinet intends to create the No. 1 army in Europe. And, apparently, to reach Moscow. Well, or at least Lvov,” The Essence of Time editorial reads.
