Germany will provide marine drones as part of military aid to Ukraine, which the Ukrainian armed units are actively using in its attacks on Crimea, according to a report from the theater of war published in The Essence of Time newspaper, issue 553.
In late September, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius announced a new €400 million-worth package of military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The Bild newspaper wrote that Ukraine would receive various high-explosive shells, artillery mines, mine-clearing vehicles, winter clothing, electric and heat generators.
“Particular attention in Berlin’s aid package has been drawn to sea drones, which are actively used in the Ukraine’s attacks on Crimea,” the Essence of Time editorial reads.
