One of the Ukrainian troops groupings that invaded the Kursk region was destroyed by the Russian army, the Defense Ministry’s press service reported on November 20.
“The elimination of the Ukrainian Army grouping blocked in the area of Olgovskaya Grove has been completed,” the summary said.
The North grouping also defeated the formations of nine brigades located in the areas of the settlements of Alexandria, Viktorovka, Daryino, Lebedevka, Malaya Loknya, Nikolsky, Novoivanovka and Sverdlikovo.
Artillery and aviation struck enemy manpower and equipment near 22 settlements in Kursk region and six in Sumy region.
During the day in this direction, the enemy lost more than 400 soldiers, six BMPs, four APCs, a Bogdana SAU, a British AS-90 SAU, a radio electronic warfare station and twenty vehicles.
Eleven Ukrainian soldiers surrendered to the enemy during the day.
