35 people have been killed and 111 injured in Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, the Gaza Strip’s Ministry of Health said on November 16.
“Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli occupation has carried out three mass killings of families in the Gaza Strip, with 35 dead and 111 injured brought to hospitals,” the ministry stated.
According to official data, since the beginning of the conflict, the number of people killed by Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip has risen to 43,799, with more than 103,600 injured.
On October 7, 2023, Israel faced an unprecedented rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. Fighters from the Palestinian Hamas movement infiltrated border areas of Israel, opening fire on military and civilian targets, and taking over 200 hostages. According to official Israeli sources, around 1,200 people were killed in this attack.
In response, Israel launched Operation “Iron Swords,” which includes missile strikes on the Gaza Strip and its complete blockade. The supply of water, electricity, fuel, food, and medicines has been halted.
