Russian Armed Forces liberate six settlements in DPR and Kharkov Region over the past week

Units of the Russian Armed Forces have liberated six settlements in Kharkov Region and the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) from Ukrainian militants over the past week, according to a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry on November 9.

Russian troops liberated Pervomayskoye in Kharkov Region and Kremennaya Balka, Maksimovka, Vishnevoe, Kurakhovka, and Antonovka in the DPR from the Ukrainian militants.

The ministry added that the coordinated and efficient operations of various military groups contributed to achieving these goals. The Zapada Groupe of Forces freed Pervomayskoye from the control of Ukrainian nationalists, while a bold and swift offensive by the Yug Group of Forcces liberated Antonovka. Units of the Tsentr Group of Forces advanced without pause, liberating Kurakhovka, Vishnevoe, and Kremennaya Balka, while the Vostok Groupe of Forces liberated Maksimovka.

Last week, Russian forces liberated 12 settlements in the DPR and Kharkov Region from nationalist forces. The newly liberated areas included Aleksandropol, Katerinovka, Selidovo, Kruglyakovka, Dobrovolye, Yasnaya Polyana, Gornyak, Tsukurino, Izmailovka, Leonidovka, Novoukrainka, and Shakhterskoye.
