Russia is not obligated to accept the conditions proposed by the team of US President-elect Donald Trump for ending the conflict in Ukraine, stated Vladimir Dzhabarov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, on November 7 in an interview with Lenta ru.
The senator emphasized that any conditions for resolving the Ukrainian-Russian conflict proposed by the USA are not binding for Moscow.
On November 7, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources, that Trump’s team, following his victory in the US presidential election, plans to freeze the conflict in Ukraine while continuing to supply Ukraine with weapons. Additionally, Kiev would reportedly need to postpone its NATO membership ambitions for several years.
The US presidential election took place on November 5, with incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris representing the Democratic Party and former President Donald Trump representing the Republican Party.
