Units from the Russian Group of Forces Zapad and Tsentr liberated two villages, the Russian Defense Ministry stated on November 2 in an update on the special military operation for the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine.
In the Kupyansk direction, units of the Zapad Group of Forces took control of the village of Pervomayskoye in Kharkov Region.
In the Krasnoarmeysk direction, units of the Tsentr Group of Forces liberated the village of Kurakhovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
From October 26 to November 1, the Russian troops liberated 12 villages and towns from Ukrainian militants in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Kharkov Region, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
