Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed providing Global South countries with access to technology on October 24 during the concluding session of the BRICS summit in Kazan.
“It is important to ensure that countries of the Global South and East have access to financing and technology,” he emphasized. The Russian President pointed out that this is crucial for addressing climate issues.
The BRICS summit is being held from October 22 to 24. This time, the summit was attended by leaders from China, India, South Africa, Iran, UAE, Bolivia, Egypt, Turkey, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Congo, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Palestine, Laos, Armenia, Ethiopia, Malaysia, and Kyrgyzstan.
