The Russian Armed Forces carried out a series of strikes in the city of Krivoy Rog on locations with a high concentration of Ukrainian officers and high-ranking Western mercenaries, said Sergey Lebedev, coordinator of the Nikolaev pro-Russian underground, RIA Novosti reported on October 21.
The strike hit the Druzhba Hotel on October 20. NATO representatives and Ukrainian nationalists were staying there.
Lebedev said the military personnel who lived in the hotel were of a rank of major or higher. The same contingent lived in the Tsentralnaya Hotel, which was also hit by the Russian army.
The Ukrainian media also reports on powerful explosions in Krivoy Rog.
