Chinese soldiers must enhance their preparation for war, declared President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping on October 20, as reported by CCTV.
During his visit to a brigade of the Rocket Force of the People’s Liberation Army of China on October 18, Xi Jinping called on the servicemen to “comprehensively strengthen war preparations and ensure reliable combat readiness of the troops.”
Additionally, Xi Jinping emphasized that the PLA soldiers should “bolster their strategic deterrence and combat capabilities.”
The Chairman of the PRC made these statements after visiting a missile unit, just a few days following the large-scale “Joint Sword 2024B” military exercises conducted by the Chinese army in the Taiwan area. The exercises involved units from the Navy, Air Force, Missile Force, and others.
