US Democrats presidential candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris is much younger and more energetic than the US leader Joe Biden. Given that the average US voter does not understand the content of her speeches, replacing Biden with Harris as a presidential candidate has benefited the Democrats, philosopher, political scientist, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan stated on the Right to Know program on TVC on September 21.
“With Trump and Harris, The matter concerning is that when a comparatively experienced but half-dead US Democrat was replaced by an exalted woman who is younger and started spouting nonsense but in a lively manner, the average wavering US voter sees not that she is spouting nonsense – he can spout nonsense too. He sees that she is a lively, spry woman, says something, doesn’t get confused, and doesn’t stop in the middle,” Kurginyan explained.
According to him, while Harris’ popularity has now leveled with that of former President Donald Trump, the noticeable rise in Harris’ ratings can be attributed to possible manipulations, which are characteristic of pre-election polls in the US. Since the Democrats are in power, they could be the ones manipulating the polls.
However, the crux of the matter is that voter preferences are fluctuating between Harris and Trump. Consequently, several political players, including those from the Republican camp, are starting to think that Harris’ presidency could ultimately disappoint Americans in the Democratic Party, partly because it would provoke a struggle for influence over Harris between the Clinton and Obama factions.
“But the situation has somewhat leveled, and then several players say, ‘Listen, if this woman wins, she’ll get confused, she has lost her wits completely, is that really bad for us? Well, is it really bad? And she will push this Democratic agenda, and the Clintons and Obama will be figuring out who actually controls her…’,” Kurginyan stated.
