The Israeli army lost 17 soldiers in battles in southern Lebanon over the past day, the Lebanese Hezbollah stated on October 3 via its Telegram channel.
“According to reliable field data, the number of soldiers and officers of the Zionist regime killed today by resistance fighters has reached 17,” the statement read.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have not confirmed this information. An Israeli military statement said that the army attacked 15 Hezbollah targets in Beirut over the past day.
During the past day, Air Force fighters, guided by intelligence, deliberately attacked munitions production facilities, ammunition depots, and other terrorist targets in the Beirut area,” the IDF stated.
