Russian Uraldronezavod unveils heavy UAV for assault support

Russian Uraldronezavod developed a modular drone named Berdysh with a payload capacity of 20 kg and a flight range of 25 km, the company’s CEO Vladimir Tkachuk announced this on September 29, as reported by TASS.

The drone is designed to support assault units.

The UAV can be equipped with various munitions, including Shmel rocket flamethrowers and RPG-30 “Kryuk” grenade launchers, as well as be used for cargo delivery and mine laying.

The development of “Berdysh” represents a significant step in advancing domestic drone systems. Future drone modifications with even higher capabilities and expanded functionality are anticipated.
