The Palestinian movement Hamas expressed solidarity with Hezbollah with Hezbollah in their opposition to Israel. This statement was made in a press release published on September 28 on the Palestinian movement’s website.
“We, members of the Hamas movement, in the face of this crime and Zionist massacre, affirm our absolute solidarity and stand as a united front with our brothers from Hezbollah and the Islamic resistance in Lebanon,” the statement read. The Islamic movement expressed condolences over the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah as a result of strikes on the southern suburb of Beirut.
Earlier, it was reported that the Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah announced on September 28 the death of its Secretary General. Nasrallah had led Hezbollah for nearly thirty years.
