Hezbollah attacks several important targets in Israel

The Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah launched rocket attacks on a military airfield, a transport and logistics base, and a factory producing explosives in Israel, the National News Agency of Lebanon (NNA) informed on September 24.

According to the information provided, the attacks were carried out with “Fadi-1” and “Fadi-2” rockets during the night of September 23-24.

The Megiddo military airfield, west of the city of Afula in northern Israel, was attacked with “Fadi-2” rockets. The Amos base, which was attacked with “Fadi-1” rockets, is also in northern Israel and serves as the main transport and logistics center for the northern region of the country.

Additionally, Hezbollah targeted a factory producing explosives near the Israeli city of Zikhron, located 60 km from the Lebanese border, with “Fadi-2” rockets.

On September 22, the Lebanese news outlet Al-Mayadeen published the specifications of the “Fadi-1” and “Fadi-2” rockets. Both rockets are designed for use in multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). The “Fadi-1” has a caliber of 220 mm and a range of up to 80 km, while the “Fadi-2,” with a caliber of 302 mm, has a range of 105 km and a warhead weight of 150 kg.
