Attempts to withdraw Ukrainian armed units from Ugledar in DPR begin

23.09.2024, Moscow.

The Kiev regime attempted to withdraw the first several groups of military personnel from Ugledar, TASS wrote on September 23.

“The enemy is now trying to withdraw groups from Ugledar,” the agency quoted a source from the defense agencies.

The interlocutor added that “these are essentially the first such attempts to leave the stronghold,” noting that many positions in the southeast of the city have already been abandoned by the Ukrainian armed units.

Ukrainian parliament member Maryana Bezuglaya stated that the loss of the city is only a matter of time, noting that “there are no defensive lines behind Ugledar.” She also listed several other villages and towns in different directions, emphasizing the absence of defensive lines behind them. Bezuglaya further accused the Ukrainian command of sending unprepared, recently mobilized soldiers to the front.
