Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski had a conflict at the talks, the Onet website wrote on September 16.
The statement reads, “According to reports from participants in the conversation, the atmosphere between Zelensky and Sikorski was extremely tense; one could even speak about a quarrel.”
According to Onet, the Polish side was surprised by the style in which Zelensky tried to address the Polish foreign minister.
Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrey Sibiga discussed the situation on the front line with Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski. The Polish authorities, however, later failed to gather a brigade of volunteers for the Ukrainian armed units from Ukrainians living outside their homeland.
