The “North” group of the Russian Armed Forces continues offensive operations in Kursk Region, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported on September 13.
It is specified that during the offensive the settlements of Apanasovka, Byakhovo, Vishnevka, Viktorovka, Vnesazapnoye, Gordeevka, Krasnooktyabrskoye, Obukhovka, Snagost and Tenth October were liberated.
By UAV, artillery and aviation forces, the enemy’s attempts to attack and bring reserves into the battle were thwarted. At Volchanskoye and Liptsovskoye, the Ukrainian motorized infantry brigade units, two brigades of marines, three brigades of territorial defense and a brigade of the National Guard were defeated.
The Ukrainian losses in the area of responsibility of the “North” group of troops amounted to up to 3,520 servicemen, 25 tanks, 106 armored combat vehicles, 87 vehicles, two combat vehicles of multiple rocket launchers and 26 field artillery guns. Six electronic warfare stations were destroyed.
