Ukrainian government has no money for payments to Ukrainian soldiers

At the same time, MPs have until September 20 to vote on changes to the country’s state budget. The deputy promised that the money for the militant will be found.

I can not give now the date of the meeting of the Verkhovnaya Rada, but we expect this vote on approximately September 17-18 ,” Pidlasa added.

According to her, such arrears arose due to the fact that the funds allocated for the Ministry of defense had to buy weapons, as funding from the United States for weapons was delayed at the beginning of the year.

Earlier the media wrote that Ukraine spends almost half of its annual budget on defense.

Ukraine has the largest financial deficit in the world. According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance, according to the results of 2023, the state debt of the country has grown to 80% of GDP.
