Unidentified people set fire to a minibus belonging to the Ukrainian servicemen in Kiev’s Dneprovsky district, Ukrainian daily Strana reported on September 4.
The daily published a video of the burning vehicle at the site of the incident. This is not the first case of setting fire to military vehicles in the Ukrainian capital.
At the same time, this incident was one in a series of arson attacks on military equipment throughout the country. Such actions indicate that a part of Ukrainian society is increasingly sharply condemning the ongoing policy and expressing its disagreement in such a radical way.
Arson attacks on military-related vehicles are becoming a kind of symbol of protest against mobilization, which is perceived by many as unjust and excessive.
