Turkey officially applied to join the BRICS on September 2, Bloomberg news agency wrote.
“Turkey has formally asked to join the BRICS group,” the agency wrote, citing its own sources.
On August 20, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Aykhan Hajizadeh said Azerbaijan applied to join BRICS.
