Berlin’s policy of supplying weapons to Ukraine suggests that Nazi supporters could drag Germany into war, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said in his Telegram channel on August 23.
With the efforts of Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Germany has become Europe’s main supplier of weapons to Ukraine and financial aid. Volodin believes that Scholz and his government did not draw the right conclusions from the greatest tragedy of the last 20th century, when Germany unleashed World War II.
The Nazi regime was then defeated and Germany was defeated. Hitler brought great suffering to the whole of humanity. But all this turned against the German people.
Nazism was defeated then. The same fate awaits it now.
Those who repeat the experience of the Third Reich are preparing the same fate for themselves. The current leadership of Germany should remember this, Volodin said.
