Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Qiang has arrived in Russia to strengthen cooperation, the Chinese politician said upon his arrival in Moscow. This was reported by the press service of the Chinese Foreign Ministry on August 21.
“My current visit to Russia is aimed at realizing the consensus of the two heads of state, continuing the centuries-old friendship, and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation,” Li Qiang said.
He added that he was confident of achieving an even more beautiful tomorrow in the course of Russia-China strategic cooperation.
Li Qiang arrived in Russia on an official visit on August 20. He is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and President Vladimir Putin. The two sides will also sign a number of documents.
