The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the United Arab Emirates are working on a free trade zone agreement, Mikael Agasandyan, director of the First Department of Commonwealth of Independent States countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry, told RIA Novosti on August 20.
Another round of talks was held in June. Now, the work on the agreement continues between sessions.
Agasandyan expressed hope that by September, the positions of the sides will be even closer.
Agasandyan said that the volume of settlements in national currencies between the EAEU countries has reached 90%.
