Gas supplies to China via the Power of Siberia pipeline are gradually increasing, RIA Novosti informed on August 19, citing the Russian government’s press service.
“Supplies of natural gas through the ‘Power of Siberia’ are steadily increasing,” the agency quoted the statement. The government also noted deepening ties between the countries in the energy sector.
A meeting between Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, is scheduled for August 21. The meeting will cover various issues, including trade and economic relations.
