Russian Armed Forces destroy six anti-aircraft missile launchers and two MLRS

Russian forces struck six anti-aircraft missile launchers and two multiple-launch rocket systems in the past 24 hours on August 17, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a summary of the special military operation for the demilitarization of Ukraine.

According to the defense department, operational-tactical aviation, drone operators, missile forces, and artillery hit two US HIMARS MLRS, four launchers of the US Patriot anti-aircraft missile system, a launcher of the German IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile system, and a launcher of the S-125 anti-aircraft missile system. Additionally, a loading vehicle for HIMARS, two AN/MPQ-65 radar stations supporting Patriot systems, and a TRML-4D radar station supporting the IRIS-T system were destroyed.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian Armed Forces destroyed a Su-24 frontline bomber, two Mi-8 helicopters, and one Mi-17 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force at airfields.
