Russian troops units destroyed three HIMARS MLRS launchers and other Ukrainian equipment in Sumy region while repelling attacks on the Kursk region, the Russian Defense Ministry’s press service reported on August 16.
“High-precision missile strikes destroyed three launchers of the US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system, two transport-loading vehicles and two escort vehicles,” the report said.
The enemy equipment was near the settlements of Yunakovka and Miropolye.
According to the latest data, the Ukrainian Armed Units have lost up to 2,860 military personnel in this direction since the beginning of the attacks on the Kursk region. Russian fighters also destroyed 41 tanks, more than 270 units of light armored vehicles, 22 artillery pieces and other enemy weapons.
