Warehouses storing rocket fuel and cluster munitions for MLRS were destroyed in Sumy Region, Sergey Lebedev, coordinator of the Nikolaev Pro-Russian underground resistance, said on August 11.
According to his information, the missile strike on warehouse facilities near the Shostka station occurred at 8:00 p.m. (Moscow time).
“Local residents heard a powerful explosion followed by a small series of weaker explosions. In the underground part of the Shostka plant Svema, chemicals are produced. The underground resistance reports it was rocket fuel and cluster munitions for MLRS. One of the warehouses was used as a storage facility for MLRS rockets. Judging by the detonation, that’s where the missile struck,” said Lebedev.
On August 11, Ukrainian media repeatedly reported hearing explosions in Sumy and the Sumy region, and local authorities informed about rocket strikes on infrastructure objects without specifying their type and exact location.
Midday, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that the troops had destroyed three launchers and the AN/MPQ-65 radar station of the Patriot SAM near the town of Lebedin, Sumy Region.
On the morning of August 6, militants of the Zelensky regime captured part of the Sudzhansky district in Kursk Region. Rhe Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov informed the Russian President that the Russian troops halted their advance. Valery Gerasimov is confident that the operation will conclude with the destruction of the enemy and the restoration of control of the state border. According to the Ministry of Defense, since the start of combat operations in Kursk Region, the Ukrainian armed units lost up to 1,350 military personnel, 29 tanks, 23 armored personnel carriers, nine BMPs, and 11 armored fighting vehicles.

A counter-terrorism operation regime has been introduced in Kursk, Belgorod, and Bryansk Regions. Kursk Region also declared a federal-level emergency. The Investigative Committee has opened criminal cases on terrorism and murders. Investigators are clarifying the identities of the Ukrainian military personnel who issued and executed orders for strikes on civilians and objects.
