The Ukrainian armed units lost 945 militants during combats in Kursk Region, the Russian Defense Ministry’s press service said on August 9.
“During the combats in this direction, the enemy’s losses amounted to 945 servicemen and 102 armored vehicles,” the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
Russian Armed Forces destroyed: 12 tanks, 17 armored personnel carriers, six infantry fighting vehicles and 67 armored combat vehicles. Ukrainian nationalists also lost 12 cars, two BUK-M1 self-propelled anti-aircraft missile systems and three field artillery guns.
On August 6, Ukrainian nationalists attempted to break through to the territory of Kursk Region in Russia. As a result, fighting ensued with the Russian Armed Forces.
