Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro condemned the information campaign in Western media aimed at swaying the political situation in Venezuela after the past presidential elections, TeleSUR wrote on July 31.
The president said that there is a fake news laboratory in the United States. According to him, the US is plotting a powerful attack against Venezuela. “We are facing another dirty criminal conspiracy that we have seen many times before in Venezuela,” Maduro explained.
The leader of the state claims that the US has engaged the remaining armed gangs, drug traffickers and criminals in Venezuela with the aim of repeating in Venezuela the Haiti scenario, when criminal gangs took control of the country.
Maduro said he was not afraid of lies and assured that Venezuela would not fall into the hands of imperialism, fascism and criminals. Addressing the US elite, the president said, “You are responsible for the war in Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq and for the death of the people.”
