Russian soldiers of the Russian Group of Forces Tsentr liberated the village of Leninskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) from the Ukrainian armed units, the Russian Defense Ministry’s press service informed on July 30.
“As a result of active actions, they [Russian soldiers] liberated the village of Leninskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic and improved the tactical situation,” the ministry said in its daily summary.
It is reported that soldiers of the Russian Group of Forces Tsentr also repelled six counterattacks by Ukrainian assault units over the past 24 hours. In addition, they struck units of three mechanized, one tank and one infantry brigade of the Ukrainian armed units near Toretsk, Zhelannoye, Vozdvizhenka, Sergeyevka, Grodovka, Nikolaevka and Novgorodskoye in the DPR.
On July 28, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the liberation of the villages of Progress and Yevgenovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. On July 27, the ministry announced the liberation of the village of Lozovatskoye in the same direction.
