Soldiers of the Russian Group of Forces Tsentr destroyed another US Abrams tank on the Avdeevka area by , the Russian Defense Ministry informed on July 29.
The tank was destroyed by fire from a Msta-S self-propelled gun using a Krasnopol precision munition. The coordinates of the enemy combat vehicle were obtained from a drone.
The Orlan-30 drone was used to adjust the fire. After the target was destroyed, the Russian soldiers changed position, camouflaged the self-propelled vehicle and took cover in a dugout.
The soldiers said that the tank got stuck and could not escape from under fire. The entire crew died. Russian soldiers said the Abrams was not designed for local roads.
