The memory of the children of the Donetsk People’s Republic killed by the criminal Kiev regime was commemorated in Donetsk by laying flowers and toys at the memorial complex Alley of Angels, the head of the executive committee of the regional branch of the United Russia party Aleksey Muratov told journalists on July 27.
Parents of the killed children and residents of Donbass attended the event. Red roses and children’s toys were laid at the memorial, which covered the monument to child victims of Ukrainian war criminals.
According to official data alone, 239 children have been killed in the region since the beginning of Ukraine’s aggression against Donbass, and another 884 have been wounded.
The head of the United Russia regional branch said that due to the ongoing hostilities, it was impossible to add new names of children whose lives were taken by Kiev’s barbaric shelling. However, he said, “We will make the memorial worthy when we win.”
The Alley of Angels is located in the Victory Park of the Kalininsky district of Donetsk. There is a wrought iron arch consisting of iron roses with large-caliber machine gun casings woven between them, as well as wrought iron doves as a symbol of peace. Under the arch, there is a granite slab, where the names of children who died as a result of the aggression of the Kiev regime are embossed. Residents of the city often visit this place, bringing toys and flowers.
