The Russian Armed Forces struck the area of the railway station in the town of Smela in Ukraine’s Cherkasy Region, coordinator of the Nikolaev pro-Russian underground Sergey Lebedev told RIA Novosti on July 25.
According to Lebedev, the strike was delivered against the area beyond the Taras Shevchenko railroad station, hitting a freight train with military equipment.
It is unknown what exactly was transported, as the equipment was covered with tarpaulin. However, according to local residents, the equipment was tracked – the tracks were visible, the coordinator specified.
Also this morning, the Russian Armed Forces hit Ukrainian warehouses in the Kiev region where depleted uranium shells were presumably stored.
