One person was killed and five wounded as a result of an attack on a ferry in the port of Kavkaz by a Ukrainian armed units’ drone, RIA Novosti wrote on July 23, citing a source in the emergency services.
Krasnodar Region Governor Veniamin Kondratiev informed about the Ukrainian armed units’ drone attack on the ferry. According to him, the attack resulted in a fire on the vessel. Among the crew members, there are injured and one dead.
The port “Kavkaz” is located on the spit Chushka in the Kerch Strait. It is used for ferry communication between Kuban and Crimea.
Russia’s border regions are constantly under attack by Ukrainian drones. They also regularly come under artillery fire.
