Kim Jong-un receives a military delegation from Russia

DPRK leader Kim Jong-un received a military delegation from Russia headed by Deputy Defense Minister Aleksey Krivoruchko, Voice of Korea radio station informed on July 19.

“On July 18, Kim Jong-un, Secretary-General of the WPK and President of the State Affairs of North Korea, received a Russian military delegation led by Deputy Defense Minister Aleksey Krivoruchko,” Voice of Korea said.

According to the KCNA (Korean Central News Agency), Russian President Vladimir Putin conveyed his greetings through the head of the delegation. In response, the DPRK leader expressed his deep gratitude and conveyed his greetings in return.

Kim Jong-un expressed the DPRK’s support and solidarity with Russia in conducting the special military operation in Ukraine. The North Korean leader “sent military greetings to the army and people of Russia, who are waging a just holy war to protect the sovereign rights and security of the state.”

On June 18-19, 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the DPRK, during which the agreement on comprehensive strategic partnership was signed.
