The Turkish defense industry is currently ready to meet the needs of not only Turkey but also its allies, Haluk Görgün, head of Turkey’s Defense Industry Directorate, wrote on July 10 on his social media page X.
According to him, the Turkish defense industry is ready to offer NATO allies “a unique opportunity in terms of both quality and cost.”
Görgün also noted that Turkey’s defense industry will continue to support the country’s presence “in the most strategic points in the most powerful way.”
The head of the Turkish Defense Industry Directorate made his statements after participating in the NATO Defense Industry Forum, which was held on the sidelines of the North Atlantic Alliance Heads of State and Government Summit in Washington.
“We, Turkey, consider these meetings and forums, which will create important opportunities to further strengthen the capabilities of our country and our allies, very important,” Görgün emphasized.
