Pro-Russian underground informs about a strike on a British sabotage center near Odessa

05.07.2024, Chernomorsk.

A British saboteur swimmers’ training center in Chernomorsk and a weapons depot in the port became the targets of a night missile strike by the Russian Armed Forces in Odessa Region, Sergey Lebedev, coordinator of the pro-Russian underground in Nikolayev, told RIA Novosti journalists on July 5.

“At 2:45 there was a strike in the direction of the Avant sailors’ training center. According to the resistance, British specialists were preparing saboteur swimmers there,” Lebedev noted.

According to him, there was information that this was one of the places of launching marine unmanned boats on objects in Crimea.

Two hours later, a logistics hub was struck where convoys were formed to transport arms and ammunition. This was a regularly operating logistics hub where convoys waited for escort teams. After first explosion rocked the ground, a powerful secondary detonation was heard from this place.

The Ukrainian armed units use, among other things, civilian cargo transport for the covert transportation of weapons. A significant part of weapons is delivered by rail and road from Europe, and part comes by sea to southern ports.
