Russian military test heavy drone combined with anti-tank guided missile

19.06.2024, Moscow.

The Russian military tested a heavy transport drone with an anti-tank guided missile mounted on it in the Zaporozhye region, RT published on June 18.

It is stated that the Perun unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is capable of carrying a load of up to 200 kg.

It is noted that the Perun has no analogs at the moment and that it has high efficiency.

A soldier with the call sign Solza described the features of the Russian drone: unlike the Ukrainian drone Baba Yaga, Perun can operate in ambush mode, fire from a distance and then fly to a new position. The Ukrainian heavy drone flies up and drops over the target, which is an irrational approach for such a large machine.

Solza decided to create such a drone while fighting between Soledar and Artyomovsk.
