The United States and the EU foment open neo-Nazi sentiment, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on June 12 during a press conference following talks with Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez.
According to him, Nazism may revive again in the world due to the policies of the USA and the EU.
“[The US and its European allies] are trying in every possible way to stir up nationalist ultra-radical sentiments and direct neo-Nazi sentiments, including in Ukraine, but also in a whole range of EU countries,” Lavrov said.
He recalled that the EU at the same time continues to call itself a “model of democracy”.
In 2014, the Bandera neo-Nazi coup d’état in Ukraine was actively supported by the USA and the EU.
