President of the Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik expressed the desire to participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) to support Russia’s efforts, RIA Novosti wrote on June 3.
“I want to go there because now is the right time for that. If we can’t agree on many new things now, then to support Russia’s efforts to preserve its economy in the face of heavy and unfair sanctions,” Dodik said.
The International Economic Forum will be held in St. Petersburg from June 5 to 8.
On June 2, the Russian leader’s aide Yury Ushakov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin would speak at the plenary session of SPIEF.
On February 21, Vladimir Putin held a meeting with Milorad Dodik in Kazan.
