Russian Group of Forces Yug eliminated over 700 Ukrainian militants in the zone of Russia’s special military operation over the past day, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry informed on May 28.
“The units of the Yug Group of Forces improved their position along the front line,” the statement reads.
It is specified that losses of manpower and military equipment were suffered by the 54th Mechanized and 46th Airmobile Brigades of the Ukrainian armed units in the areas of Ivano-Daryevka, Krasnogorovka and Konstantinovka (Donetsk People’s Republic).
The Russian Defense Ministry also noted that the Ukrainian side lost over 700 militants, 3 armored combat vehicles, 6 vehicles, 2 152-mm howitzers D-20, 122-mm howitzer D-30, 105mm US-made gun M119 in total on this direction.
