The Russian army liberated the village of Kleshcheyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry informed on May 22.
“The units of the Yug Group of Forces liberated the village of Kleshcheyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic as a result of active actions,” the press service noted.
The Russian military also attacked the enemy near Georgievka, Ostroye and Konstantinovka in the DPR and inflicted casualties on manpower and equipment.
Earlier, the Yug Group of Forces struck enemy units and equipment near Spornoye, Razdolovka, and Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The Ukrainian armed units lost more than 340 militants, three tanks and three vehicles during the fighting with the group.
On May 20, units of the Yug Group of Forces liberated the village of Belogorovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic.
