Iran’s ambassador to Russia: Iran’s foreign policy course will be preserved

Iran’s foreign policy course will not change after the deaths of President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hosein Amir Abdollahian, Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali said on May 21 on Solovyov Live.

The ambassador assured that Iran’s political course is stable and will remain so without significant changes. He explained that according to the constitution, the country’s external course is determined by its supreme leader, who is now Ali Khamenei.

On the night of May 19, a helicopter carrying Iranian President and Foreign Minister crashed near the border with Azerbaijan due to bad weather conditions.
