Units of the Yug Group of Forces liberated the village of Belogorovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), the Russian Defense Ministry’s press service reported on May 20.
“Completely liberated Belogorovka village in the Lugansk People’s Republic and occupied more favorable lines and positions,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a summary of the situation in the zone of Russia’s special military operation over the past 24 hours.
The press service also reported that the Yug Group of Forces struck enemy units and equipment near the settlements of Spornoye, Razdolovka, Kleshcheevka and Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The Ukrainian armed units lost more than 340 military personnel, three tanks and three vehicles during the fighting with the group over the course of the day.
