The West is ready to to continue the war of attrition at any cost, because Ukraine will pay for everything, according to the report from the theater of war, published in The Essence of Time newspaper, issue 582.
The French Le Figaro wrote that Ukraine promises the West to launch a new counter-offensive in 2025 if it gets help to survive in 2024. To this end, Ukraine is asking for the necessary arms.
According to the newspaper, Kiev wants to get the SAMP-T surface-to-air missile system, but mainly air defense missiles. The French government is putting pressure on the manufacturer in this regard, but to no avail, as the latter cannot in the short term increase the supply of missiles that are needed not only by Ukraine, but also by the French army.
“The West needs a continued war of attrition at any price Ukraine can pay. Hence the task of ‘continue’ the hostilities until 2025,” The Essence of Time editorial reads.
