The US wants to pit Germany against Russia but at the same time it fears to militarize the Germans and to raise their warrior spirit, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on March 16 on the Right to Know program on channel TVC.
“They fear it to death. Today they are ready to let this German shepherd dog off the leash or to loosen it. This is an extreme risk. Do they have any internal mechanisms to restrict it if they are ready to at least slightly militarize Germany?” the political scientist said.
Kurginyan noted that there are no people in Europe other than the Germans who can fight the Russians, but it remains unclear how to restrict a militarized Germany afterwards. This is why the West is hesitating, and this can be observed in the informational field.
“In order to make use of Germany they need to control it on the one hand, and to give it the command to attack and allow it to move on the other hand. And this is where they hesitate whether they should militarize Germany or not. This is where we can see the security officials negotiating etc. This is where we can see overtures with various German elites, this is where this game takes place,” Kurginyan added.
The expert reminded that we already had a period when Germany was allowed to build up its military capabilities, and then it was a problem to stop it. That time, the USSR stopped it, but today it is not clear who will stop it.
“They are between the devil and the deep sea. On the one hand, they need to militarize Europe, and on the other hand they fear to militarize Germany. Between these two extremes they have to hesitate and maneuver in order to avoid both overheating the Germans and underheating them, and to detect to which level to heat them up and what to do with them,” the leader of Essence of Time concluded.
