TASS reported on 25 March that the Russian ambassador to the Netherlands, Vladimir Tarabrin, stated that 30 biolaboratories continue to operate on Ukraine’s territory under orders from the USA.
According to the ambassador, Moscow has data showing that the implementation of the relevant programs under different names resumed in 2023.
“For example, ‘Joint Biological Research’ – this program is actually aimed at developing components of biological weapons. Therefore, it is not surprising that for the past 20 years, Washington has been blocking all Russian initiatives to strengthen the biological convention regime and create an effective mechanism to verify compliance with its provisions by all member states,” the diplomat concluded.
In March 2022, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, Chief of the Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Troops of the Russian Armed Forces, spoke of 30 laboratories working in Ukraine on Washington’s orders.
