The day of mourning for those killed in the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall began on March 24.
Mourning was declared by Russian President Vladimir Putin during his address to citizens after the terrorist attack.
On the day of mourning state flags are lowered, entertainment events and programs on radio and television are canceled.
In some regions of the Russian Federation, mourning was announced earlier and may last several days, such as in Kuzbass, where a three-day mourning period was declared.
A number of countries also declared mourning in solidarity with the people of Russia. For example, this was done in Nicaragua and Abkhazia.
